Thrive, despite all your summer parenting challenges
Gracebased | Summer
Summer.
When you’re a kid, it can be both fun and boring – road trips to new places and one too many hours staring at a screen.
As a parent, it’s even more of a mixed bag.
You’re juggling work, a household, kids not at school, and vacation planning. You get unforgettable summer memories while managing the stress of holding all the details together.
Every summer, my family and I head out on our annual vacation. Last year, it was sunny California.
Thankfully, the kids are at an age where they can manage themselves. But that changed when we finally got to the beach.
I felt more like a roadie, lugging so much of their gear. In flip-flops. Through the sand.
It was hot. Just awful. Until it became…great.
We had a blast body surfing, enjoying God’s creation.
Summer moments like those capture parenting well: messy, awful at times, but eventually wonderful.
At Gracebased, we want you to thrive in the trenches of parenting, despite the challenges you face.
That’s why we’re here – to serve you and your families with helpful and inspiring resources to flourish in any season – flips-flops and all.
As you head off into the summer months, we’ll continue to send (but not bombard) meaningful content to your inbox to help connect your family’s adventures to God’s grace, like:
- Gracebased Home Journal: Stay tuned for our next edition in July.
- Blueprints Pathway: Our video series exploring God’s vision for parenting.
- Blueprints Podcast: We just wrapped our season finale. Check out any episodes you may have missed!
Here’s to a wonderful summer.
On the journey,
